2 Cargo Vessels collided in the Welland Canal on Saturday July 11, 2020. The Florence Spirit was transporting coal, and the MV Alanis was transporting wind turbines. The mainstream media is telling people there was no pollution or anything, but paint scraped off along with rust and metal, which means there was a small amount of toxins released into the Welland Canal. If this was worse there would have been a risk of coal polluting the Welland Canal, thankfully the damage was minimal.
