Russian propaganda tries to justify the war in Ukraine because the United States of America invaded other countries under previous administrations, Russian propaganda portrays the United States as if it were the same administration running the country like how Putin has kept himself in power over 2 decades already flipping back to Prime Minister at times to have his puppet Medvedev be President so Putin can then be elected President again, the killing of political opponents. And some other important details they missed, the United States literally was at war with terrorism, terrorism when left unchecked leads to events like September 11, 2001. Russia is at war with the people of Ukraine the constant bombing of civilian infrastructure proves Russia is not going after Nazis, that's pure propaganda. Russian propaganda has successfully convinced some people around the world that the war is somehow justified because the United States invaded Iraq. When the U.S. did invade Iraq it was nothing compared to Russia invading Ukraine and stealing land, bombing civilian infrastructure and committing war crimes. Some might say George Bush is guilty of war crimes, even if true it's nothing compared to what Russia is doing and people in the USA were allowed to protest unlike Russia. The United States helped several countries around the world have a chance at democratic elections. There are no Nazis in Ukraine that is misinformation all the important ones are long dead. Russian propaganda convinced some people that there is a Nazi threat in Ukraine all of a sudden as if the Nazis came back from the dead.

All over the internet there are Russian trolls making comments on popular news media and YouTube channels, websites and blogs to try and justify the war. War should always be opposed, authoritarian regimes like Russia and Communist China are working together, China openly wants to dominate the world and be #1, China is literally conspiring to steal U.S., Canadian and European technology and patents, China's foreign influence campaign is ruthless. Any sports player who praises Putin, or praised in the past and won't condemn the war in Russia, needs to not be allowed in sports. Sorry but that can't be allowed there needs to be a line drawn in the sand to send a message to players that if you support authoritarian regimes invading other countries and violating human rights, your not going to be allowed to play. Condemn the regimes and stop supporting them and problem solved, if they want to continue to support authoritarian regimes suppressing human rights they should not be allowed to play in professional sports. It would be like in 1943 having hockey games with players literally rooting for the Nazis, that should never be allowed its supposed to be professional sports, not unprofessional dictatorship supporting hypocrisy!

What kind of message does it send to kids when professional athletes they look up to are supporting human rights abusers? The NBA turns a blind eye to communist China's human rights abuses. It's not just the NBA that turn a blind eye to human rights abuses, the NHL and many other professional sports are literally turning a blind eye to human rights abuses, this needs to change.
