Anti-Trans laws are based off misinformation fueling discrimination, hate and violence. Far-right media are calling transgender or LGBT+ "marxist" yet the Soviet Union censored transgender and LGBT info/themes, the state fueled hate and discrimination. Marx was homophobic! In the past couple years there has been an explosion of anti-trans laws in several states in the United States not even based in any science, Catholic Medical Association members wrote most of Florida's anti-trans reports for Medicaid. Here in Canada with the information about 1% of the population is trans, we don't see a huge explosion of kids wanting to be LGBT+, people are born LGBT and there is literally more to gender in nature yet several corrupt governments ignore science. People shouldn't have to suppress their feelings and emotions, people deserve freedom to express themselves and not hide. Kids deserve an environment where they can feel safe to be themselves. I grew up without the information and skipped high school a lot because of my gender dysphoria, I started transitioning at 35 years old after years of denial, transitioning is life saving and turned my life around I actually care about my life now. Discrimination against transgender or LGBT+ people can really impact people's lives, why should bullies have an advantage to get ahead?
We need public support to show support that people want freedom, not suppression.
